Default My first mods !!!

Ok i have had the GS for 8 days now. On friday i had the windows tinted 35% all around (not windshield) totally changes the look of the car I love it...just hope i don't get a ticket because I am going to hear the "I told you so" from the wife lol.

Had the prestigious society override module put in and it works great...little expensive but i wasnt big on cutting wires. Mark at PS provides super support responds to questions immediatly and great detailed installation instructions my installer was extremely impressed.

Had the VAIS ipod adapter installed in the glovebox and im wondering now why i wasted my money on the XM....maybe its for the traffic reports

i used to dislike tinted windows thinking that the car didnt look clean. well, i eventually started to tint my cars and now i just dont understand how i lived without it for so long.

most states consider 35% as legal no? i have 20% all around, thought i can pull this off since we drive a luxury car, heh.

you can order the Ipod adapter from vais tech which i believe is a club lexus vendor and take that to your local auto stereo shop and have it installed my guy was already familiar with the vais products.

My friends and I did the install... the process was very simple after getting out the head unit which was the tedious part.

Yeah, really no need for XM with the iPod adapter.

lol you have to imagine me doing that on my 85k ls460l 4 weeks after ownership, now that was very sweaty. especially when i was the first one to import the override kit and had no idea what would happen when pulling out the panels

but i also have to agree the instructions from PS are very nice, you almost can't go wrong with it imho

Done the same with my 3GS a few weeks into brand new (2 years ago) when I removed the head unit and cut the wire in the back to disable speedlock. Felt like in one of those movies where they disable a time bomb LOL!!! Just recently when I replaced engine air filter with a new K&N one, did it outside in a hurry in the parking lot under the heavy rain. Later when I was driving a car, I was second guessing myself if I closed all the clips around the filter down
