Make sure the left/right toggle button isn't in the middle. that disables tilt function

i had this issue before, i can't remember why lol, I'm not sure if you know this or not: but when you are in reverse, you can adjust each of your side mirrors.

The adjustment you make while the car is in reverse will be the angle they tilt down to the next time you put the car in reverse. Is that cool or what?

Well that's how I remedied the (similar) problem when I encountered it... it may have been somebody pushing one of the three seat setting buttons, but anyway, I hope this helps

By holding down the L or R on the toggle switch, the light goes out, and the mirrors won't move downward in reverse. Simply push either direction on the switch - when the indicator light comes on, the mirrors should move down in reverse.

On my 06 I found that we have to leave the side mirror selector switch on the R side. One time the problem came up again and when I replaced the car's battery it was working again which tells me that it probably needed to have the system reset.Hope this helps.
