Default Window and lock problem

I have a 2008 Lexus GS 350. Its been fine until now. I lock the doors in the morning and when leaving for work I find the doors unlocked and all the windows open. Even the moonroof! Its been happening for two days now. Any idea of what the problem could be?

That happens when you hold down the unlock button. Are you holding it down accidently, maybe when it's in your pocket?

yea i think you've probably pressed it by accident in your pocket

or car is feeling too hot and trying to vent itself

lol haha... indeed. pay attention to where your key is, if it happens again while it's not pressed against anything, then you have an overdue appointment at the dealer

Thanks for your replies but its not the key. I come home in the morning and leave the keys on the counter. Plus I don't even use the keys to unlock/lock I just use the button on the door handle. I might have to take it to the dealership.

Yeah you might need to check on that. That's very odd not to mention scary. Because if it's not your key, then there's some electrical problem.

Where is your second key? Maybe that one is pushed down somewhere in your house.

Default Windows opening

I own a 2006 LS430 and the same problem is happening to me. I live in the Northeast and the car's interior is definitely not hot, so it wouldn't be ventilating. I also don't believe I'm inadvertently depressing the key unlock. Is it at all possible that various WiFi signals can activate this system?

RF interferance might be the cause here. The oem fob doesnt have much of range, so I doubt that is the cause. That could be a really serious problem if its raining outside. My suggustion is that, if you dont use that function, have the dealer disable it, its a Lexus personalize option setting.
