Default Problem with Lock button on Door handles?

Hey guys,

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but this morning after i drove to school, i tried to lock my door with the button on the door handle. I pressed it and the car beeped, but the doors did not lock. I had to press the lock button on my key to do so. It was really cold this morning, would that be affecting the lock button?

Thanks.

It's probably not even considered that cold to you guys, but I live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I don't have an exact temperature, but i'm guessing around -2 degrees celcius.

Perhaps your key sensor was confused and thought the key was still in the cabin.

I would say shrug it off unless it keeps happening, in which case, bring it in to get checked out.

I agree with slee18. A beep when pressing the door lock button usually means one of the doors is open or ajar.
