Default OEM Navigation GS conversion?? question

Is it possible to put oem navigation in an non navi GS and will it be plug and play?!?

im sure you can but it would be too costly compared with getting an aftermarker double din head unit, its like going backwards. unless you got it for free or stolen price. 500 to 700 for great double din head unit. oem nav and that it for 800 to 1500.

far from plug and play. the harness has to be changed as well (from 2gs experience), it won't be cheap.

probably better to go aftermarket

Plug and play, no. You will need the NAV brain, wiring and the instrument cluster and a new glove box to deal with.

i've seen some oem navi units on ebay with 6 disc changer, gps antenna and navi kit and they claim its plug and play so are they just lying?

how about the nav dvd unit in the glove box? the different glove box (i suppose you don't have the dvd slot in the glove box now)?

You can't add double din units. The non-nav oem screen control climate, phone, trip information as well as radio functions.
