According to the MSRP sticker, my car does not have this option, yet I have the AFS off button on my side control panel.

Am I wrong? Do I actually have AFS on the car?

you have it... you can easily see it in some tight turn... check it out

 

if it's a 2008, you can check if it has Rain-Sensing wipers. if you have those, then you have AFS. the 2 features come coupled together for 2008.

 

If you have HID then you should have AFS as well? Or can you get AFS without HID???

 

I am not supposed to have the rain sensing wipers either.

Do I check if I have them by pouring some water on my windshield?

I do have HIDs though.

I am pretty sure I do not have this option. According to the manual, when I hit the "AFS Off" button, an AFS Off light should display. That does not happen on my car.

Anyone else have the button, but not the option?

My 2008 also has the AFS button but not the option. Pressed the button but nothing happened.

 

All the buttons are preinstalled regardless of whether the option is installed. Save's Lexus on having multiple panel configurations. I don't have a rear window shade or parking sensors but I have those buttons.

Have you taken a corner on a dark road at night. Watch the light pattern, you will know right away if you have AFS.

Yes, the same here on '07 3GS. Buttons are there and labeled, but don't have the feature. Kind of confusing at first, but than you get used to it

 

Thought AFS was a standard feature. The again, I thought the sunshade was too until some people said they didn't have it.

 

no no, the buttons are there and have the pictures on them, but the particular option is not installed in the car.
