Has someone know how to open the keyless remote to change battery?

 

The instruction is in the manual. I think the cover just snaps open with a screwdriver.

If you don't have a screw driver handy you can use the removable thin metal key that is on the FOB also...

 

Pull the key and you will see a notch in the corner of the fob where the key was insert the tip of the key in that notch and twist. Unit should just snap back together

Dealer here replaces key fob batteries free of charge. No matter how old the car is. If your dealer does not, radio shack, interstate or even Wal-Mart.

Your best bet is Ebay. You can buy a five pack of CR1632 for $5.75 with free shipping. To search for battery on Ebay type: cr1632 battery and you will see the cr1632 packages for sale.

NOT sure!!! It works for gs430 and gs300 cars. When you open the fob ckeck the number on the battery and use that for your Ebay search.

 

i used a video i found on youtube. just search how to change lexus key it should be there. i got my battery at a local radioshack.

 

how do you change it???? take it to a dealersip. lol. we buy these cars so we dont have to stress these things. indulge in the awesome lexus service. pull in and they will get you out the door with a new battery, a smile, and a cool drink.
