Default Oem Windshield?

Can someone please give me the exact specs for a windshield on an '08 GS350 purchased in Jan. from Lexus of Kendall in Miami, Florida? I would like to replace my current windshield which has numerous swirls. I believe its an Acoustic Windshield from Asahi? Please help.

Asahi Glass aka AGC Automotive is the OEM manufacturer for the factory Japan, Lexus GS windshield.

$1,307.46 List price.

We discussed this not too long ago?

replacing windshield already on a 08?? what do you mean swirls?

I am sure there's some polishing compound that you can apply to the windshield to get rid of any haze or what not, I've seen a detailer that did a 55 hours detail job on a Lambo Gallardo and they did just that

Yeah, but you are talking about a Gallardo! Factory OEM replacement windshield for this beast would be super expensive I would think, and it makes more economical sense to get the windshield detailed (but then if the guy can afford a Gallardo, getting an OEM replacement window shouldn't hurt his wallet that bad either ).

For a GS, assuming the OP required a detailer to do 55 hrs detail job (at $20/hr), that would cost him $1,100 + taxes. He might be better off getting a new OEM replacement window, unless of course it he was given a guarantee that the detailing cost would be cheaper than replacement.

Through Lexus. Parts pricing as of July 2008. Pricing changes each month so it may be a little different once you order it today.

seriously maybe you shouldn't get a luxury car... all luxury car parts are expensive, if you have contact you can probably get it cheaper, or if you want you can always get aftermarket glasses

or just go back to normal brands @_@

how do you get a whole winsheld replaced for noise? rattles?

the only thing that's been discussed is the TSB windsheild clip noise fix during cold weather and such.

WT??
Windshield w/rain sensor 56101-30A20 $1352.34
Windshield w/o rain sensor 56101-30A10 $1327.40
why the hell the winshield is that expensive?
is it made of gold or what?

and only ~30 bucks difference for rain sensor and non-sensor winshield?
that's a really weird pricing...
i remember it was $400 difference for BMWs....
i donno.. i can't remember, just know it's a rip off
