We already agreed on something before this thread.. OUR GS! haha
You should test drive a CTS4 its suprisingly quick. If they priced it at 35 fully loaded it would sell a whole lot better IMO.

The only way you can get to that amount is by adding together the prices of packages that are inclusive of each other.

I ran the pricing on Cadillac's web site and $51,500 is it, including every they have. If you get two sets of tires (summer tire option and all-season tire option), which can both be selected in the web configuration dialog, it's $52,800

I can see $40K loaded up.
Quick is very nice but the GS's 303 HP works for me.
I'm coming out of a weak 204 HP IS 250AWD.
I don't think I'll ever buy an American badge vehicle again.

Take 2 minutes call your local caddy dealer ask him how much their fully loaded cts4 costs. The window sticker on the car I test drove was 58k and some change. I am not making this up.( i will try to swing by and take a pic of the sticker)

As posted above, there are not options that can be packaged together that total more than $51,500.

Dealers put an assortment of cars on their lots that they believe will sell. A few would probably have the works (at a sticker of $51K-ish) and the rest would have less.

My nearest big Caddy dealer has the most expensive CTS at $51,850 in their inventory.
They have 5 at that price.

I wouldn't want to call a business for something like that, but I did go online and scan through some inventory both here and in CT. Prices are all lower than $51,800.

Not that I have any expectation of it, but since you threw it out there, I would be very interested to actually see the sticker.

Other than that, I'm done - apologies for my part in the tangent

The Caddilac dealer I went to was the one route 1 auto mile. Its right down the street from Herb Chambers Lexus of Norwood. Its about 25 min away from me, but I will try to somehow obtain that sticker.

Maybe the dealer has dealer installed rip off stuff like custom tires, wheels etc..on the window.

I can see CtS-V maybe going for $58K because it starts at $51K.

Haha i dont doubt you on that one at all....I just called the dealer to see if they can fax me a copy of that sticker or listing price. He confirmed its 58k and some change lol He agreed to email me the listing and specs of that particular vehicle. He said about 10 mins so as soon as i get it i will post. I hope he comes through. Otherwise he'll just keep sending me endless emails about CADDY'S ... darn it!

The email from Cadillac of Norwood

Sir,

I have great news for you. I talked to the sales manager, and we can let you have that car, today only, for $51,850. An absolute steal!

Looking forward to it

In the end, people will look at the GENESIS and say what a bargain, how do they offer so much for so little, I am seriously considering this car, this car will get Lexus, MB and BMW thinking, the GENESIS is on my final top 3 cars to buy or Hyandai is climbing the ladder fast. All and all, very few of those people who say all these nice things about the GENESIS will actaully but the GENESIS. The reason might vary as to why, but there are many reason not to risk $40K on a Hyandai.
