From my breif experience, amazing! It's super loud at 10, but I cranked it up to like 25 and there was absolutely NO distortion. I'm not a hardcore audiophile, so I will admit that the Mark Levinson system may be better (who knows?). Still, if it's good enough for Rolls Royce, I'm sure Lexicon is good enough for the Genesis.

Since I don't have the Tech Package, my car only has the 15-speaker Lexicon system, which lacks the 7.1 Discrete Surround Sound of the 17-speaker system, but does have Logic7 Surround Sound. I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference between the two. They both sound great to me.

Well put. Thanks for the detailed review of the Genesis.

I haven't read the entire discussion yet - so this may have already been addressed - but the Cadillac CTS tops out at about $45k. I have no idea where this $58k is coming from. Again, this may have already been addressed...

No. It is apparently not. Can you post a link or provide some other kind of source for that price?

Base MSRPs

CTS $35K
CTS w/DI $37K
CTS AWD $38K
CTS AWD w/DI $39K

There are not $19K of options available that I can add up. The premium package is about $10K. You can get a couple of other things and get all-out loaded to a sticker of just over $50K. Most are in the $40s.

I was correct. The CTS has a 3.6L with direct injection and 304 HP option and that CTS can be easily bought well equipped for $41K or less discounted like I posted.
The CTS doesn't even have a 3.7L engine available.
The $58K CTS you test drove was a CTS-V and has a V8.

So "apparently" there are options that add up to make it 58k+ If youre still not believing me, just make one simple phone call to your local caddy dealer =) Its easy always to post base prices but rarely do they come in just the base model.

Was it a 3.7L like you said?
Does Caddy make a 3.6L Direct Injection 304HP for a CTS?

See,you can be wrong too.

The CTS-V supposedly has 550hp? 6.2liter V8.. Im pretty sure I wouldve noticed the power of a 550hp engine compared to a V6.

Yeap I was wrong. For some reason I remembered 3.7 liter instead of 3.6 liter.
Its still a CTS4 304hp for 58k+ what a rip off.

Go to Edmunds or KBB and price one out and post the link.

That should answer the questions.
