I still dig the wood kits. The owner of Junction produce had a total wood kit on his LS and it looks solid. They seel the wood kits for the GS only in the brown wood. And the pieces they seel actually replace the vents and console suurounds instead of laying something over the dash or console. I still think the kits look nice. The pic of the 2gs set up looks crappy bec the match is so bad. I still tyhink the black wood will look nice. I am surprised to see that you guys generally dont like interiors covered in wood. I guess you guys dont like any english car. Rolls, Bentley, Jaguar, etc are all covered in wood. Look good enough to charge the price of a home for the car. I guess its all preference. For me I dig .

I'm sure there are quite a bit of people who like interiors covered in wood. but the question here is wood "kits" and not real wood... The kits look pretty darn cheap and ghetto, therefore are not liked.

I think the last wood "kit" I liked was in a "custom" Chevy truck (college) haha, and I think the next car I have with more wood than my GS will definitely need to be in the Rolls, Bentley class!

Wald makes a decent Kit for the LS... but I still would pass on the "extra wood"... it's just as bad as going "Chrome" crazy...

Its all preference. I am currently focusing my time and money on converting from tein h tech springs to the tanabe pro 5 coilovers with the TEAS. I called a lexus dealer in town who is an authorized tanabe dealer quoted me 1495 dollars for the coilovers with the TEAS. Pretty sweet. They said they can do the install, but I might try a local high end tuner shop in scottsdale. You guys are always saying the dealership is not the best place for aftermarket part install. I dont know its kind of convenient to drop the car off , get a loaner, go home and just chill and relax until the car is done. I am lazy as hell so I may still have the lexus dealership do the install.

Kind of remind me of that sport master wagon from that national lampoon vacation If you are going to put in a wood kit, you will need to match that with those persian rug floor mats to finish off that tacky look

Do you have a picture of that kit in black wood, it might look better.
