I have a question for those who have made their own wooden trims.

What kind of wood was it?

Did you glue it to the surface?

What finishing touches... paint.. ects. did you do to the wood?

I have a friend that used the kind you stick on then you trim it. I know its not wood but his car sure does look good. I tried to see which parts are real wood and whats not, hard to tell. (By just looking that is).
