Default Custom Order Dates

On 2/7 I custom ordered a gs350 with avs, ml etc. Initially I was told 90 days, then I was told 5/8-5/13, then I was told 5/14-5/19. Tomorrow is the 19th. Have any of you been yanked around by delivery dates. How long should I wait until I go get an infinity g35. The car reached port in the US on 4/26. Thanks

I ordered mine Nov. 1, it was built the day before Thanksgiving (21st), reached Long Beach on Nov. 27 and it arrived at the dealer in Austin Dec. 10. However, at the time, my salesguy warned me that port processing can take as many as three weeks. I was lucky with the whole shipping process, but it still took longer to get from CA to TX than from JP to US!

Jenadamson is right, up to 3 weeks once at port, and if you are out in Indiana, maybe 4 weeks

Keep bugging your salesperson, he should tell you exactly where the car is and why it's being delayed.

definitily shouldnt take over 3 months. like mentioned id keep calling the sales guy. im sure he would tell you whats going on if he wants to make a sale and get some income.

if you cant get any word from him, try a different dealer if you really want a gs350. i know later down the road you might be kicking yourself that you got the g35 instead of the gs. i almost bought a g35 the day i was looking at my gs then i went ahead and just got the gs anyway and glad i made that decision.

There are very few GS350 with AVS if any at all. If the car was custom order at the factory, then I would say 3 months is actually a fast turn around.
