Default Trunk light

Is there really no trunk light in the 2007 GS350?

it is on the right side of the trunk, has a switch that disables it...here is something for you to tackle later

Excuse the hi-jacking of this thread. What's missing is a light in the glove box!!! The other night I had to reach in there to pull something out and could not see a darn thing. I had to pull everything out to find what I was looking for. Lexus put lights under the front seats for the rear footwells, to me it would be logical to have a light in the glove box as well.

Noticed the trunk light limitations and the missing glove box light... Ran into the same prob as MadDog when looking for something at night.... Looks like Lexus needs to focus on the features or luxury details a little more...

Before totaling my 2007 GS350, I was totally pissed off that there was no AUX port for my MP3.... Now that I'm getting the 08, I'm glad to see this is handled. I know these are small issues, but it's the little things that can make a difference in just how much you enjoy your car...

Although the car is chock full of features, over time you will notice they did a lot of cost cutting.

Yep and that's why there's still a reason to spend 10, 15k more to get a BMW 5 or MB E although they're in the same class.

There's room for improvement everywhere and with anything including ourselves, but I truly believe that my GS350 is the best vehicle I've owned thus far.

+1, as I have said from the start, it's the best car I have ever owned.

Actually, your 997 turbo is probably something that I would rather have instead of this GS.

I spend more time lurking on 6speedonline than I am on CL.

MadDawg, I have a light in my glove box -- not very strong, but it's there.

Really??? Care to "enlighten" us (pun intended ). If there is one, I wonder if it was a mid-year production change where a light was added to the glove box. My 07 was manufactured in Sept 06, when was yours??
