damn that sucks, I have 35% tint all around and its ok so far. But the tint is not that dark anyways.

 

You can also just pay the fine instead of removing the tint. I think it's around $90 dollars.

I have 20% on the front windows and I would rather just pay the fine than remove them!

That's the lamest piece of crap I've ever heard of. These cops obviously have nothing better to do but pull people over for lame reasons. I'm still gonna get all my windows tinted =]

 

To avoid these complications you should always take a picture of the car before adding tints and subwoofers to bring to the judge to show that you have taken care of the removal and they will dismiss the charge(s).

 

what do you mean? show them a false pre-tint picture?
or snap a picture, then tint again?

don't you have to take the car to a police station to have the officer sign off on the tickets saying that you already fixed the tinted windows for the front or can you just show the judge a picture of the car before it was tinted?...not really sure if that is possible...

 

Here in hawaii they dont need to pull you over for anything else, tint is enough. I cant stand it when ppl tint the whole front windshield.

 

police in San Diego are tint *****...they tried of bone me over factory tint in one of my past cars and i just glared and said what can i do? i bought the car this way...

eventually i had to roll down my window and show him i had no tint...

 

Stupid law? not if your a cop walking up to a car for a traffic stop at nite and you cant see if the person is holding a gun or not, BUT if your not a cop yea its a stupid law... better you than me pal.
