The 328xi definitely has a smaller wheel gap.

I don't want to lower mine either so I'm getting used to it.

I LOOOOVVVVVEEE the J30. Almost bought one instead of my RL but missed out on it. it looks like a jag and it ran so smooth. I was hoping they would revive it somehow and depart from the germany inspired designs they have been adopting lately. The J30 although it looked like a jag was unique among japanese imports. Hey Infiniti, build a new J30, and blaze a new trail.

I got a perfect example, especially ones with 18" Yokohama Advan A10B can relay.

I loved the sticky-ness of the A10B, but not the constant howling. So I have them replaced with Michelin ones with less performance, but way much quiet.

Just like to noise made by M35's exhaust, it is constantly detectable and constantly IGNORING. I would only like to hear the exhaust screaming when I punch it (can be hear above 3,000 RPM and up).

That was the point I tried to make.

I own 2007 G35S, 2010 M35X and 2017 GSF currently and drive them interchangeably. I would say Lexus is better car and Infiniti is more fun. (steering, engine response, etc)

Infiniti is very reliable too. Even comparing with brand new GSF I really cannot believe that my OLD OLD G35S (with all existing old factory parts and some modification like PSS10, sway bars) still can provide so much fun!!! (please be noted that I bought it used 8 years ago and keep driving it aggressively for the past 8 years!!! Now it's over 110K miles.)

In addition I really like hydraulic steering from my G35S and M35X. My GSF steering is electrical...

Funny someone revived this. Just checked my dealers website, and they have a 2006 M35x with 40k miles for 11k. I'd almost consider trading in my 2006 GS, but after contemplating trading it for a 2007 M45 before, ride and fit and finish just weren't the same. Definitely sportier and more powerful though, guess one isn't better than the other, just comes down to what a person is looking for. Personally, I also think the GS is much better looking, but its so subjective.

Really seems like M35's build during acceleration would 'rumble' on start as the feeling of a lighter car with power, instead of GS which would be better with its insulated features make it heavier upon acceleration giving it sportier feel with the momentum. Yes, it might be slower, but the fact that it moves more heavily is why I like the feel and momentum after accelerating that the 3GS gives. You could say it's like driving an F-pace compared to an Rx450. F-pace and it's aluminum body is very light but produces a lot more road noise and jolt but is faster. Rx450 would be better insulated and more comfortable and heavier and accelerate slower, but is smoother upon starting and braking. Last thing is the body roll on GS which i highly dislike, but to be honest, you can add an F-sport rear sway bar to make it better ($600+).

IMO:
M35:
Pros:
- Bit faster
- Slightly pricier over time
- Suspension over turns (way less body roll compared to GS)
Cons:
- Build does not feel solid like compared to 3GS
- In cabin noise seems less insulated
- Exterior car design (personally favor 3GS looks)

3GS is just cooler, imo lol. It's more lux and sport, instead of sport with bit of lux.
