Painted Brake Calipers
Last week end I painted my brake calipers, I’m very pleased with the results, that adds a discrete sporty touch.
I got the paint kit from Tire Rack, the kit comes with everything you need to paint the calipers, including brake cleaner and paint brush.
The kit is great, the finish is awesome, very glossy and soft to the touch, this is not cheap canned paint, but advanced, chemically bonded paint. The only thing I will recommend is to toss the paint brush that come with the kit for a nicer one, the hair on the bundled brush are not very regular and have a tendency to create uneven surfaces when applying the paint, so save yourself some hassle and get a nice high quality paint brush; beside that, it was very easy to apply, the main hassle being to remove the tires...
Oh, and I got the Lexus Stickers from a British dude on eBay...

Because of the slope of the driveway, the rear seem lower that it is really is, this picture give a better feel of the stance of the car.
Very nice
I like the subtle approach with the gold. Not to flashy or attention grabbing like red (unless it's Brembo's) for the stock calipers. Very clean ride too. Do you have any pictures of your 7000k fogs?

I guess you can paint them without removing the wheels, but it is going to be a major pain in the *** to try to reach the calipers trough the wheels, plus you *will* make a sloppy and inconsistent job, and not be able to reach the side and the back of the caliper. No really remove the wheels, it's the best.
