Default bummer on debadging

i was ging to debadge the car today and found out fast that there are holes underneath. thought id share with everyone before you guys find out like me.

i thought they were like my 2nd gen gs where it was just double sided tape. on these ones, they are attatched using double sided tape but they also have hole for the emblem's little feet.

yup.
it's not a real problem though... just fill and paint after... I knew somone who did it and it looked flawless.

but why not have the badge? You just dislike?

IMO i think that the car would look much better with just the "L" and nothing else. there is just too much going on back there for me.

I don't blame him for not searching. Its not something most people might have thought about. I asked this question back in December(I think) and found out before removing the badges.
I want them gone because I KNOW in a few years, all those badges is gonna have brown dirt in between the words becuase after every wash there will be just a bit of dirt I will miss.
And They shouldn't have used holes. Every hole is just another way of water finding its way in.

I was originally quoted $350,then $250 when I did not respond right away.They took off the "L" by mistake,had to get me a new one and paid $225 total.

$25 for touchup paint and clear coat, $6 for tube of filler, $1 piece of 1200 sandpaper.. Results.. priceless
