Anyone haveing problems with their leather? It seems that I put a can of Monster Energy drink on the passenger seat and it leaves an indent that won't go away for days... I finally massaged it out... Thank god!
Anyone have this problem where it doesn't come out? Just trying to be careful so I don't any permanent indentations...

Yes - I have already complained to my dealer about similar things and they claim it's "normal." To me, a $50k car doesn't behave this way. I have the Ash interior and it's a nice color, but pathetic from a quality standpoint - I have indentations from my elbow on the doorpanel armrests that won't go away and the car is <6 mos old!!! In 5 years, my LS-430 never developed this issue.
My car was in for rattles and the front seat has a horrible wrinkle in the leather that is for certain permanent, I was too busy to notice, after I noticed they had scracthed my fender but yes, the leather is sooo soft it is easily indented wrinkled etc
you guys are funny. to me it's a blessing that the leathers are so soft. but you are complaining @_@ try to go to bmw with those harsh rough leather. they don't deform much. but boy i for sure want my lexus leather
I guess it's preferance. My BMW 5-series interior was much more comfortable, but the l do prefer the softer Lexus leather. I just can't stand the "indents"... can't we find a happy median>
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. No matter what kind of leather Lexus had chosen, a large percentage of potential buyers would be dissapointed. Other than offering a choice of leather, all a car maker can do is target the largest percentile and absorb the criticism from the rest.

i totally understand what you mean. i have gs400 and sc430, and i had is300. every time i put something on the seat for 15 mins and i got those indentations. i am just used to it and know how i should treat the leather. but i can see how it could be frustrations for people
i guess i am just too old. when me and my wife we sat in the bmw (5 and 6 series), we looked at each other and was like "why the heck is this so rough and stiff"?
