I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this on their 06 GS. I have had the check system go off 4 times in the last two weeks with no issues with air loss or tire damage. The first two times they checked the tires and reset the light. The last time they replaced the front driver-side tire sensor.
The dealer has had the car about as much as I have.
While I do enjoy the service department at my dealer, I hate being without my car. Anyone have suggestions or stories similar to this? I am not sure if the dealer's comment "I have never seen this before ever in a Lexus" should comfort me or concern me.
That definitely doesn't sound normal. I've had my GS300 for a week and a half and put 430 miles on it and have never had any problems with the TPMS going off.
Well, hopefully to bring closure to this thread, they replaced the front driver side tire sensor (this time the part that registers the sensor in the tire itself). After nearly 200 miles, nothing has gone off yet.
I think after 1000 miles and the first good rain, if it is still off, I will consider the case closed.
This is a good way to start off owning a Lexus. Dealer was excellent in their handling of this though
