Default TPMS problem after flat tire

Hello CL.

I just had flat tire yesterday so I replaced two rear tires with new ones.

Right before flat, TPMS sensors read all four corners but when tire went flat, I couldn't pull over right away because it was busy street.

I had to drive little bit to reach gas station. After changing into spare tire, it didn't read any numbers on all four corners. It was displaying flat (---).

It was strange because I thought it would show as "0" not "---" Anyways, I drove it for 30 minutes after changing two tires and TPMS sensor is still on

and blinks randomly. On the display, it still shows flat (---) on all four corners. I tried to press the "reset" button under the steering wheel and it blinked

3 times and it still shows TMPS light after driving it for hour. Did one of the sensor went bad when I had flat tire? Maybe it damaged the sensor... but I am

not sure what's going on. Did you guys had this problem before?

If it's the TPMS sensor, anyone knows the part number for Lexus OEM TMPS? My car is 2013 Gs 350 f-sport.

Thank you!

You have to reset the TPMS. Underneath the base of the steering column, above the brake and gas pedals, there is a TPMS reset button.

Hmmm I tried that. TPMS light blinked 3 times but light is still on after hour of driving after reset. All four corners are still showing flat (---).

The warning should disappear after the reset and TPMS recalibrates. I wonder if the TPMS was damaged or needs to be reprogrammed ?

Yea... I think TPMS was damaged when tire went flat. I'll go to the tire shop and ask them if they can read TPMS sensor with their machine.

BTW, do you know PN for TPMS sensor? I have PN as 42607-30060. Is this correct PN for 4th gen GS? Can anyone confirm PN for me please?

Thank you,

Not anymore. I got new tires yesterday and changed spare tire right away.

I measured all four tires and PSI is at 35 on all four tires but still giving me TMPS light.

Did you report this TPMS reading problem to the shop that installed and balanced your tires? If not, why not? They should have the equipment and knowledge to properly reset/reprogram the sensors.

It happened to me after I had my tires replaced. Diagnosed it at Lexus and they stated one of the sensors were bad. Only way to fix it was to have it replaced and reprogrammed at Lexus. My tire shop couldn't even reprogram the new one for some reason.

Yea so I went back to the america's tire shop and they scanned the tpms sensors for me. They were able to scan 3 but they couldn't read 1 on the back tire. They said I need to replace sensor. I think when tires went flat, it damaged the sensor. I'll order the oem one and they will program it for me.

Thanks for the PN and help guys.
