On my soon to be gone '98 E320, holding the lock button on the key fob would cause all windows to close, including the sunroof. However, it was somewhat picky when it would work. If you just opened and closed a door, then it would close the windows as expected. However, if there was some period of time between when you last closed the door and tried the lock button, then it wouldn't close the windows. It was weird.

When it did work I liked the feature and I guess I'm going to miss in on my new GS300.

The pinch protection/jammed protection on Lexus only works when you used the Auto function. If you keep holding on the UP position on the window switch the window will not come down. You can try this with some soft towel and place it on top of the glasee. Then hold the window switch in up positon and the window will crush the towel until you release it.

The same reason go to the Key FOB. You have to hold down the Unlock buttom to roll down all the windows, right?. If Lexus put this feature on the key Fob to roll up the windows with FOB by hold down the Lock buttom and if somebody hand, kid or dog is in its way. It will crush that little hand. That's why you have to use the key.
