Do you know if the ML system 6 disc in dash will allow for MP3s to play on the DVDs?

No, it won't, but you can convert MP3's using programs such as Ulead Burn. Now or Audio DVD Creator and then burn them onto DVD's. I have over 600 MP3's on one DVD+R which plays fine on my ML system.

I can't seem to get the audio dvd to play in my gs 300. I am using audio dvd creator on test mode (just the 5 mps). NOthing comes out of the GS300 when I put it in (although it does read a dvd). What is the correct rate and format to use? Does anyone have any ideas. Thanks

I don't think this is the right thread for this audio discussion but just to answer your question; this is based on the full version:
- Select New Project
- Select Audio DVD
- Select AC3 or PCM (any of the modes should work, it all depend on the quality vs. how many songs you want to fit on one DVD. For most songs with a decent quality, select AC3 with 2.0 channels and 192 Kbps)
- On the same page select NTSC
- Most importantly, click (select) "play music directly instead of showing menu when dic inserted"

Then select your songs and burn the disc. What might have happened in your case is that the DVD disc is in the menu page and is waiting for you to select the movie (in this case it is only the audio with a nice screen showing the selection). If you engage the parking brake and select the DVD it will show you the menu page and then you can select the songs. Otherwise, if you select the option above, it will start playing the DVD audio even when you are in motion.

Please search a previous threads on DVD Audio. there are more details on how to best program the DVD.
