Default Backup camera placement

Hi,

For the guys with Nav (or anyone who has seen it ), where did Lexus put the backup camera?

Thanks.

It is placed to the side of the license plate at the same level as the top of the plate. I'm pretty sure the lens has been improved to. The GX and RX have a high degree of panoramics to cover the widest area possible. The GS seems to be much clearer and truer.

yeah i think its very nicely put. the angle is just about the same as the ls430 i think, not sure about the gx. it's right to the right side (pessenger) of the licence plate, at the top, right below the trunk bar

and man did you guys notice where the put the rear trunk key hole? they do know how to hide stuff...

Thanks. I'm just wondering where to put my rear camera. I know the keyhole is an option but I was curious where the Lexus engineer decided to put it. Does anyone have a pic?

I cropped this pic, but it's on the far right of this pic...

Here's what I took at Glendale:

The RX330's rear view camera is in the same part of the vehicle but on the left side.

Be very careful if you use the keyhole or you will scratch the trunk. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...08#post1248008

LOL. Thanks.

I am looking at places to put a camera on my 2GS and was looking to see where the Lexus engineers decided to mount the OEM one. Since this won't be on a 3GS, I don't think I'll have the problem you mentioned.
