08 GS 460 leaking transmission fluid

08 GS 460 leaking transmission fluid
08 GS 460 with 174k miles leaking transmission and leaking transmission hoses. Has anybody else seen or heard of this issues? It’s driving me insane and I just brought the car. I’ve taken it to several shops now and one shop saying that I need to replace the entire transmission for about a $6800 job while another shop saying that they can open the transmission up and replace all the seals and hopefully nothing inside the transmission is damaged for a couple thousand. However I’m currently not having any drive ability issues and wouldn’t have known it was leaking if not seeing the fist sized puddle under my car after being parked.I'm currently not driving the car anymore because I don’t know how low the transmission is in fluid at this point. I’ve done extensive research and can’t seem to find any similar issues with the 460. Can someone give me advice as to what the problem maybe and if this is a common issues or not?
