Default Lucas transmission fluid fix

Hello CL, I bought Lucas transmission fix oil/fluid to add to my 2000 GS 300.

just want to know if it would damage my transmission in any way..lol it's silly question but just wanted to be sure. My GS has 222,000 miles. I feel like its slipping, even though I swap it out with another used transmission.

I would like to know so I can add it today.

thanks for your help

Not worth your time. Drop the pan and replace the filter and put some new fluid in it.

I've used Lucas products in motors the past, but never in the transmission and here's why - I worked in a transmission shop for a few years. One time I dropped the pan on a transmission and there were golf ball sized ***** of goo on the interior of the pan. Brought it over to the foreman and asked what it was, he said "Oh, that's Lucas. Somebody tried to fix their transmission with Mechanic in a Bottle". If your transmission is slipping the friction plates are likely going. Change fluid and filter and continue to monitor it.

Hi and thanks alot for your reply on this matter. I already added lucas to my transmission as no one replied at that time..but I'll do what you said then.ill see what happens. I really appreciate it alot..ill tell my father not to use it on his van.

my gs300 transmission was swapped like about 1 year and a half ago. But still I feel needs something to have it accelarate more easier. And also I hear a knuckle noise around the middle to front or back of gs ehen I'm starting to slow down and come to a stop.
