I paid about 375 usd from a junk yard, so we had to pull it all ourselves. It was about 5 or 6 wheel narrows worth so not something you want to do solo. I would probably triple that if you are expecting for someone to remove it all for you.

Just a foot note ... From all the GS Gen 2 cars, I've seen, online, in person, and many, at the JY (1) Black interiors are not that common. (2) Tan interiors, are super common (3) Gray interiors, are quite rare..

In my experience, if you actually see a 2GS black interior fully intact at a yard, it won't be there tomorrow. Clean black interiors in a 2GS at a yard are like HID projectors on an LS430, but much less portable.

I agree. I'm still looking to find some grey seat covers just for the driver and been checking ebay and craigslist. That's the only seat in my car that's been worn down and cracking a bit.

Are you looking for the OEM gray leather or some type of slip-on cover? If it's the OEM leather, the condition of the seat is obviously a factor which in turn will affect the cost, but a local auto upholstery shop should be able to work wonders. There are also some thorough videos on YouTube if you want to tackle leather repair yourself, but it requires patience and precision.

I'm looking for the OEM gray leather or something that will match it closely. I would go clazzio like people prefer, but I don't want to spend that kind of money if only the driver's bottom seat cover is cracking. How much are you thinking they will charge? Hmm I did see some videos, but it looks like the stuff necessary would be expensive and suck if it didn't turn out great. I found an ebay seller selling aftermarket seat cushion oem specs and may go that route and see if he does gray.

To be honest, I don't know, but if you can locate an upholstery shop by you, it wouldn't hurt to ask them for a quote. Seems like $75-90 an hour plus materials would do it and I can't imagine actual operating time on a single seat cover being very long. Most of the time is spent curing. It looks like DIY repair kits aren't too expensive either, but I personally wouldn't have the patience nor precision to fix it myself, so I'd be willing to pay a professional to do it.

It is kind of funny that all of the seat covers from that seller on eBay are ivory. If they're manufacturing them in-house though, they should be able to make you a gray version.

What part of CA are you in? I get a few GS in the yard every so often so i'll keep an eye out for a good black interior, but like most people have said, black interior is quite hard to come by.
