Default Delayed shifting

I just recently installed an aftermarket CAI (Cold Air Intake) into my 99 GS3, and noticed my shifting is delayed. Like its in Power mode selection. It shifts at a higher RPM then the stock air box. Have any of you had this problem after installing a CAI? If you did have this. What did yo do to remedy it, or is this normal?I noticed this on my other car when I installed a CAI. It took the ECU a week to adjust the new system, and turned off the CEL (check engine light).

Question

Did you reset the ECU after the install?

Remove the neg battery cable for at least 20 minutes will do or remove the ecu fuse for the same time.
