Default Any Plug And Play Speaker Replacement Options?

I just got a subwoofer professionally installed and would like to upgrade the speakers myself.

I just wanna pop out the old ones and plug some new ones in. I don't want to build any custom enclosures or install any amps! Do you have any recommendations? Thanks!!

Can I replace the speakers with 4OHMS speakers without changing out any amps? I know you would need an adapter but you can get those on Amazon. I think I'd wanna use these with a "spacer"

I would recommend the following for adapters...I have used them twice and highly recommend:

Also for front speakers I would recommend these on a budget:. You can spend all kinds of loot on speakers but these are great sounding for the price-point, and yes these like factory are 4ohm speakers. Plug and play.

2002 UK car with navigation so apologies if there are differences but I found the standard door speakers to be beyond poor. Tried some (really) cheap Pioneers assuming they would be an improvement from factory but they weren't so spent a little more on Alpine S-S40 2 ways. Far better and pop straight in. I disconnected the factory tweeter. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SS40/Alpine-S-S40.html

Are you currently running the 5.25" door speakers?

You can also look for the 6.5 Mark Levinson speaker boxes found in certain GS models if you do not get the 6.5" template cut-outs. You might get lucky and find a set in a junkyard too:

Another option is if you want to modify the factory 5.25" speaker boxes, you can get 6.5" speakers in all 4 boxes if your replacement speakers are not too deep. I did this on mine and just had to relocate the bass tube routing inside the box and make a new hole for it.

When you disconnected the factory tweeter, did it automatically disable the crossover to the factory tweeter? Or did you have to do something else? Thanks so much!!

I am gonna get 6.5 speakers since people have already made cheap custom enclosures for them and they will work with the factory amp.

Sorry, didn't spot your question.

I didn't do anything other than disconnect the tweeter. I just unplugged it where the connection goes into the top of the enclosure. To be honest I was really surprised how poor the stock sound was. This is my third Lexus of this period and the stock non ML set up has always been fine.

Which speakers are those? I am a big fan of that brand and know they awesome quality.
