Differences in what way? Are you going for power, fuel economy, the VIP look, a sporty/ricey look? Starting with engine or exterior, or even interior first? Whats your goal for the car. Thumping sound system? Less ground clearance than a sheet of paper? High power engine build?

More of a vip look but without the camber wheels and inside or out it doesn't matter starting point its my first lexus so i wanna start off rite
Some cheap mods that help the look are window visors and a rear window visor if you're into that. Otherwise start saving for a set of rims. Probably the most important thing for the VIP look is a set of wheels. Here's a pic of mine with 19"s and the visors. LED taillights, dark tint. etc. There are better rims suited for the VIP look. Just Google VIP GS300 and enjoy the show. Plenty to give you ideas.
so far I converted all lights except tail and fog lamps to LED, rx330 wheels and shifter, tint, hooked up an amp and sub to radio. still needs suspension, exhaust, led tail lights and fog and a few misc leather repairs and such.

If I were you, depending on your budget, I would buy either lowering springs or coilovers. I recommend Tein for either. For the best performance bang for the buck, upgrade your brake pads to performance pads. I recommend Endless MX72 Plus pads if you don't mind dust and noise or Endless SSY pads if you want extra performance but no extra noise or dust. The MX72s should cost you around $300 front and rear while the SSY pads should cost around $225.
it wasnt hard at all, just plug and play, hardest was the parking lights because the last owner put back the bulb upside down do I has to semi remove the headlights to be able to get it out. I actually got all the LED's on amazon for like $100. low/hi beams, rear license lights, all interior lights, trunk etc.
