Default Suggestions on cleaning Exhaust/Canister......

Any recommendations on getting these mufflers to shine like new again? I've been postponing this for a while now and might as well do it before it gets worse. Seems to be burn marks. I actually tried to hit it with some never dull wadding polish with no luck. Is there some type of easy quick spray I can apply to remove those marks? Any input is appreciated!

Try some steel wool to get most residue off before you move onto polishing. Used it before to shine up an exhaust. Never used it on burn marks though.

"Mothers" makes a good polish. Just have to use the old elbow grease and rub rub rub. It will clean back up.

I always use "Turtle Wax chrome polish" on my chrome tips, bumpers or stainless steel exhaust parts. It comes in a small container (looks like a small brake fluid container) and this stuff has been working very good for me the last 15 years.

Are you running Tanabe mufflers?

Thanks for that! Just picked up some #000 steel wool. Hopefully, that will get those marks off.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind.

I'll be sure to consider that when I stop by the store. I'm running TRD Aristo Exhaust.
