For exhaust tip, I use the Meguiar's Chrome polish. Works good for 1 step.

I've been using Optimum Metal Polish on chrome recently and really like the results. The p21s polishing soap, as mentioned, is a great choice as well. Heres a link to some metal polishes for you. http://www.glimmerglassdetailing.com/meandchpo.html

For clay and clay lube, heres a package for you. Contains a 200g light clay bar, 16oz Luber clay lube and a container to store the unused portion of the clay.

We have our 4th of July special going on all week long, so this might be a good time to pick some products up and save a little more than usual with 4.00 flat shipping and 18% off applicable products

Meguiar's Mild Clay is a good choice. You can order it direct from them if you like. As for Exhaust polishing, Optimum metal polish is the stuff you want! You wont be disappointed.

Never dull from pepboys, strauss auto, R&S. Usually about $5/$6.00 anyway. Lasts a REALLY long time. You can use about a dime size on the entire chrome strip around the car, and it'll still clean!

I sometimes use the P21S Metal Polishing Soap to help maintain and shine my wheels and exhaust tips. This is a soap and metal polish in one container this is super easy to use and highly effective. If you have deeply embedded stains then the P21S Finish Restorer is my product of choice. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Nevr Dull works pretty well on tips but its a pain to use.

I like OMP with a MF towel. Haven't had the need for #0000 steel wool yet

Sometimes it’s the small things that make a big difference between a good looking car, and a great looking one. Your paint can look fantastic, but if you haven’t taken the time to properly detail areas such as the wheels, wheel wells, glass, or the exhaust tips, then the job simply isn’t complete.

bump...

the key to a good cleaning if your tips are horrible is using the 0000 steel wool with basically any kind of chrome cleaner.

I spent a lot of time before reading about this.
