Thumbs up how to clean exhaust tip?

hi everyone,

every once in a while i'd see someone randomly mentioning a particular product that they use to polish and clean their exhaust tip, but when i did search i couldn't find anything my exhaust tips re turning a little yellow/brownish (despite i always wash the tips when i wash my car), so can anyone recommend me a product that they really like? thanks in advance

I use this stuff. If they are in really bad shape I actually wet sand them with 2000 grit sandpaper, and this stuff polishes all the sanding scratches right out.

thanks! do you just wash it with soap and water first, then apply the metal polish then rinse it down?

Pretty much. The polish is like a rubbing compound so rub it in good.

If you wash your car weekly, like me, just make sure to get the tips with your car wash fluid of choice. I never have enough build-up to worry about using any more harsh products than the usual soap/water.

I use eagle one never dull. It has a bundle of cotton soaked in that stuff its great.
Wipe the tips with the neverdull and then wait for it to dry and wipe off with a soft cloth (with water if you want to add extra shine and dry after).

Its super cheap and the fact that it is soaked in cotton, it is on good material that wont scratch your tips (if you are that ****).:P
