Won't start without a jump, then wont stay running
I have a 2001 Lexus GS 300. it got stuck in the mud, and once turned off it would not start again. It was like it had no power at all. even the trunk would not pop open. We were able to jump start it, but within a few minutes it would shut off. We did this 5 or 6 times. We allowed the battery time to charge up.
We finally had a tow truck driver use the portable charger. It charged for 15+ minutes, and the charger measured the charge in the battery. I was able to drive it over to its parking spot, and let it run for about 10 more minutes. Never would start again without being jumped.
We think it is one of the safety/security features the car has, but we have been unsuccessful in getting it fixed. We disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes. We tried inserting the key, turning to ACC, turning to off, and then to start several times. No luck.
Any ideas on what could have gone wrong and how we can fix it?

I was having a similar problem with my GS400. Turns out the Original Positive battery clamp was loose/corroded and kept grounding itself causing the battery to die.
I swapped out the clamp with a new one and havent had that issue anymore.
Check and make sure youre not accidentely grounding itself.
