Why have the pictures posted with the solutions disappeared?

What are you talking about?

If it's an older thread, chances are the images that were included are simply no longer online. Or in the case of Photobucket, which was a popular image host in the mid-00s, they've crippled all hotlinked images and held them for ransom.

Try bumping the tread with a bold statement asking for pic repost. Maybe the original poster will see it and post them up
