Default weird option or speedometer problem?

Hello guys i dont know its weird or what but whenever i start my 2000 platnium series gs400c,the gauges and speedometer goes all the way up then come back to 0 , like 2016 models feature when the speedometer goes all the way to 160mph and come back to i dont know how does this happens really is it normal? Or its only my car?

no mods only deleted cats and mufflers but though first owner said he never saw that option on any gs hahaha,its too weird that i saw my friend car and it doesnt do that i think its a problem?

altough the car runs perfectly no any issues 178k on it ,i will make a video about it

I do not think that is normal. I believe under the dealer techstream software there is some sort of instrument cluster tests for this. I would love to see a video.

Well the ol’ techstream didn’t reveal anything.

imterstingly, if you pull the GAUGE fuse and then turn the key on, the needles will jump and do a sort of half-sweep before dropping back to 0.
