Hey,
I have a 2000 Silver GS400 and I live in Southern California. The problem is that EVERYONE and their mother has a GS. Most are 300's but still. I want to get a few little things to make mine stand out. In this case, I'd like to put the ARISTO badges on my GS. I think this would give it a little flair and a make it a little different then the mom's GS on her way to soccer practice!! I was wondering where I can buy these emblems and what I should expect to pay for them? Does Dave at GTAutosports carry them?? Thanks everyone...

That's real funny!!! Where I come from most soccer mom's are either in minivan's or monster SUV's. That's the whole reason I got my GS, 'cause no women around here drive them. Since I've had mine (Dec 2000) I've yet to see a woman driving one, all up 'til now have been male, and mostly GS300's.

Hey, what about soccer Dads? I take my son to practice, just got to make sure he doesn't muddy up my back seat with his cleats.

Heck, when you have enough mods, you don't need the emblems to distinguish from the other men, and women (LexusLady, plenty of them driving GS here in SF Bay Area) at the ball field!

NOT EVERYONE!!! I have ARISTO!!! hahaaha sorry, but yeah I've never seen another Aristo on the street so it'll be 2 of a kind.

Dave @ GTA can get them. I think close to the price that I got them for strait from japan.

Be sure you don't put "V400" though. I've seen one and it's not all that amazing.

Emblems, maybe 40 bucks each. I'm not sure, you HAVE to check with Dave on that. It's worth it though, draws ALOT of attention and confusion.

Unfortunately there's no GS400 nor the V8 for the Aristo in Japan. There WAS a V8 version for the older 14# model Aristo, but not the 98+.

you could do it the following ways:

Lexus (L) Aristo
Aristo (L) GS400
or just
Aristo (L) 400

All of them works nice.

I think I'd go with

ARISTO (L) 400 OR
ARISTO 400

I like both of those!! I have another question though! First, does Dave sell them in the BLACK PEARL?? Cuz that's what I have on my Platinum GS400. Also, I know how to take off an emblem, but how do I put one on, and how do I cut the GS off of the 400?? Do I go to the dealer?? How much will that cost me?? Thanks for all the help Globe!! I'm excited to get the badges. I want something NO ONE else has in MY AREA. And that's those badges!! I can't wait. Thanks again Globe...

First of all, the GS is seperated from the 400 so there's no cutting required. However, I would not reuse the emblem unless you believe that you can dig out all the old doublesided stick and put in some new ones (i find it impossible to do since the space is so tiny) and if you do manage to do it, it would stick out too much. For the cost of the emblem, i paid roughly $70 for the whole set of four (2 toyotas in the front and rear, the v300, and the aristo). In terms of putting it on, my recommendation is to remove the old ones, leave the sticky part on the 2 ends of the old emblems and start doing some approximation...here's a link that may be helpful:
