Default Won't shift to overdrive.

Hi CL members,

So i just finished my aristo swap on a 1999 GS300
this is the thread if you want to check it.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...999-gs300.html

I was having a problem with the transmission not shifting at all it would only shift to 1st gear when shifted to D and the ECT flashing .
i pulled the code it was the speed sensor.
so i replaced the Speed sensors on the transmission and started shifting and no more check engine codes or ECT codes. but the overdrive won't engage. it only shifts to 1st, 2nd, and third.
the downshift is weird too. it feels like when other cars have the sport mode shifting.
A michanic told me that the shifter need to have the O/D botton on it or it won't shift to overdrive.

some information :

1- I'm using the aristo ECU the non immobilizer one. the one that came with my swap had the immobilizer.
2- i didn't buy the aristo ABS ecu. so i still have the gs300 one.
3- the water temp sensor that located at the bottom of the radiator is not connected. when i connect it the fans doesn't work. now the fans work all the time.
4- I'm using the gs300 shifter.
5- cruise control work. it didn't work before i change the speed sensors.
6- there is no down pipe, no exhaust system. the o2 sensor on the turbos outlet connected tho.
7- i swapped the orange and gray caps. and depinned one of the wires in the GE igniter and added it to the GTE igniter then connected it to the Black and yellow wire with out cutting the the black and yellow wire.
8- everything runs good. car runs good no problems except that it doesn't shift to overdrive.

Can anybody help me please.
what controls the O/D? i feel like the problem is electronic not mechanical.
