Will 2002 GS300 tail lights fit on a 1999 GS?

Yes, but theres a wiring difference. You'll need the harness from the 02's

I have a complete set with inner truck lights, wire harness and bulbs for sale. Excellent condition.
$250 and buyer pays shipping.

^What these guys said.

You can put 01-05 tails in your car but you will need the wiring harness or it wont light up. The 01+ had another wire for the brake light or something. You can also do some soldering if you dont want to spend the money for the harness. I suggest grabbing it off of ta1972 because that is a pretty good deal.

Not really, I found plenty of new conditions sets (and I think I saw brand new as well) for less that $250 on ebay. In fact, there are a couple of Insurance Depo LED's kits for under $250 as well... Just sayin. Sadly the GS is getting so old that $$ cant be made on parting out anymore

Thanks for the response guys. I honestly want to keep everything oem on my Lexus but the tail light from a 2001+ will give it that newer look. I'm also in search of the rims set from a GS300. I prefer chrome. Like the one in the picture.

For Shundoe, no pressure on buying mine. If you want to buy the aftermarket ones from ebay, go for it!
Your choice.

Now you're just insulting my integrity

(add inners for $30 bucks, still under $250)

Or you can even piece them together for $150:

Left side:

The validity of any statement I make on CL is always 100%

OP:

As for going aftermarket, dont be to fast on turning away. As we all know, parts on a Lexus arent actually made by Lexus themselves, they out source their parts. Many of these aftermarket companies are actually the same companies who make the for Lexus. Once Lexus discontinues the marketing, these companies will still make them without the Toyota/Lexus branding, but with the exact same quality. Only think twice for after market "custom" parts, thoseare the ones that can be caca! Factory replacements are for the most part, from my experience, very much OEM quality.
