I am having the same problem with the heat not working on the passenger side only.
I had, had an issue with the passenger side only blowing hot in another Lexus and I was able to resolve the issue by simply cleaning the servo. Tried that with this one, but no luck. The servo did not respond after cleaning and will need to be replaced.
These are the part numbers:
Product #:8710630341, Lexus OEM Damper (For Cooling Unit)
This is the one that controls the temp and is the one that is behind the AC pipes (furthest from you - toward the front of car). It is also the more difficult one to remove, but it is not so bad once you figure out how to get to it. A stubby or flexible screwdriver is a must.
Product #:8710630371 Lexus OEM Damper (For Mode)
This is the servo that will be the one that is closest to you (when sitting in the passenger seat) and most "easy" to remove. This one controls whether the air blows to your face, legs, or defrost.
If you do decide to try and clean it first before buying a new one and simply replacing it you will need to take it apart. This is pretty easy, just a few plastic clips to pry open (try not to break) and then you will need to pull the motor and clean under the large plastic gear with q-tips and isopropyl alcohol. Make sure you take note of where the gear arm is so when you put everything back together it is in the same spot. Do Not try to turn the gear arm with the motor inside! As for the cleaning I would dip the end of the q-tip into some alcohol and bend it so I could wipe clock-wise under the large gear. After cleaning off all the old grease grab some "clean" grease from elsewhere in the servo or from a fresh store bought supply.
When putting the servo's back in make sure to line up their arms with the tracks in place.
What can I say. I like pictures.

now back to the problem which is the servos not going to where they should on the drivers side to have full heat

[QUOTE=marshun;9227449]freon level has nothing to do with heating. but ive redone the whole ac system. blows a cold *** 30 degrees when its on.
marshun,
I can understand what you're saying 100%. But in my case it was that and do not ask me why?? Because in my case was low freon although I do not make sense to me either. I speak from my experience and I just try to help other here, that all.
