Cel p0430
Hi,
I know this code has been brought up a million times, lets make it a million and one.
I have replaced o2 sensors, added spacers, checked for leaks and reset the code.
.
One thing i have noticed is whenever i reset the code and drive without the AC on the code doesn't show up on my morning commute.(29 miles one way)
On the way back, since it has been warm here in NYC i have been turning the AC on and the code after approx 5 miles would kick back on. Not sure if there is a vaccume issue verse a actual CAT issue.
Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on this before i go and get the OBX setup and o2 sims.
Thanks

Check this one or the next one on the right side. Also, where this one is connecting is another one that you need to look as well.
The clap cover the crack on my hose and the air leak right there and make the code P430 and the hesitation on my car.
Thanks for the info
A lot of the codes that come up are 2 trip codes. Meaning that during the first trip the code might get stored on the ECU. Then on your way home when it gets the code for the second time it sets of your check engine light. I had that issue with the P1349 code.

I had the same code along with a P0420 come on after 35 miles of driving after a code reset. I removed my PCV valve and cleaned it along with a new air filter. Its been almost 100 miles and the CEL is off.
Are you 100% sure your exhaust doughnut gaskets on the mid-pipe are not leaking? When I had that code it was a very small exhaust leak coming from the doughnut gaskets between the headers and the mid-pipe and it was giving the o2 sensor a false reading. If you are sure on that, then I would recommend checking on what Mcon said.
You can see the PVC Valve on the second picture. Is very close to the acelerator cable with the hose that have the yellow mark on it. That is the PVC Valve with the hose. I change the PCV Valve and the hose and when I was change it is when I found out the air hise was my big problem with that 2 cide that are you have. Also, check that shwalker07 told you to check. I change those gasket believe that was my problem with the codes including the PCV Valve and the PCV Hose. And it turned out that was only the air hose that you see in the photos.
