Simple Mod Questions
Hi Guys, I just bought my 98 GS400 about a month ago and I have been wanting to do some Mods to it. I like to start off cheap and work my way up. So I have a couple of questions on a couple diff mods:
1) I just replaced the stock wedge bulb for the parking lights with PIAA 18Watt bulbs. Is there a problem with overheating of anything when I switch bulbs? At least now the parking lights ALMOST match the HIDs
2) The next mod is the suspension. I am planning to go with the H&R springs with the Bilstein Sport shocks. What do you guys think of the combo? Any other choices...I dont want to spend the $$ for coilovers ? I am going purely for looks and not for racetrack performance.
3) I am going with the 20" Momo Quasar 2 on Dunlop 9000 255 35s for the shoes. What do you guys think about that?
It's great for people to have access to a club like this. Prior to finding this website, I didn't know where to begin my mods. As simple as I am, I was relieved when I found this website cuz it pointed me in the right direction re: my Lex. Thanks for your guys' input
