Today I stopped at a traffic light, I put my car in park to find something really fast in the truck and when I get back inside the car and try to put it in Drive, I could not. The shift no want to move at all. I had to go back to the truck and pull out the shifter cover out and bypass the shifter to drive my car home. I don't spend a minute driving the car when the lights VSC, ABS and VSC OFF turn ON. I went to advance to give me the code and the code are as follows; C0200, C1223 and C1246.
Someone had this experience before?? It is very strange that this happened?
Any help is more than appreciated. Thank you

 

This happened to me before, I think its your battery, check the terminals. Or the fuse for the shifter if there is one...

 

This also happened to me when I was doing an experiment to see if shifting the car into N evertytime I stopped at a light would save gas, I think I overworked the shifter fuse, or whatever electronic component powers the shifter. But it eventually went away.

 

Today I found out what was the issues with my car, the shifter luck and all the 3 code. Was the Brake Pedal Switch. I call a friend that he is a master mechanic on the Lexus Dealer and he told me to check the tail light if go ON when someone help me to push the pedal break. If the tail light not turn ON, my problem is the brake switch that is broken and that is the reason that all the light on the dash going ON ( Bad Code Signal) and the shifter no realese it from Parking point. I take the negative battery cable out, change the switch, installing the negative cable back and check the tail light and everything go well. Light on the dash go OFF. Heyyyyyyyy, I so happy for fix the pro let on my baby. I just need to pay a lunch to my friend. LOL
