Default Gs300 motor mounts help

I tried removing my motor mounts and followed the guide where it said to bend the lift hook and unplug one of the vacuum hoses. I was able to remove all the nuts holding the mounts in but I could not lift the engine high enough to remove the mounts. I kept jacking up the engine but it wouldn't move any higher. I also bought a crowbar so that I could try to move the engine towards the passengers side to remove the drivers side mount, but I couldn't move it at all. Am I missing something to get the engine high enough to slide out the mounts?

Did you ever find a way to remove your driver side mount? I've ran into the same problem and have been stuck for the pass week. I've tried jacking the engine up on one side and the car down on the opposite, still not enough clearance. I've tried removing the engine bracket but the bolt underneath the oil filter area can not be accessed with a ratchet. I've managed to remove the bolts on the driver side subframe, but when i attempted the passenger side, the nuts wont budge and broke 2 of my ratchets. Can someone please chime in? Thank you!

Hey. thank you for the reply. What do you mean cross memeber? Are you talking about the bracket underneath the car thats connected to subframe and trail arm/caster arms?
