Hello. I have been searching for a few hours but I like answers to my exact situation and questions. I just bought an 04 GS3. This is my second one I've owned. I have the stock ( non navi ) no mark levinson setup and just ordered some 6.5" adapters so I can upgrade the speakers. My questions are these. First, will just replacing the speakers with the 6.5" make any significant difference? I did not plan to upgrade the radio or amp. I want some crisp, clear sound with decent bass. I do not want an aftermarket box setup as I have two children and not looking to impress the girls like back in the day. Can anyone let me know what I will need to achieve my goal? Also, if an aftermarket amp is necessary to get the most out of the new speakers, is there an upgraded replacement that can be put in the existing place of the OEM? I am big on OEM look and not looking to run wires all over the car. I thought about upgrading the stock sub as well but through my search I found that most say there is no way to make that better without an enclosure. Which once again, I do not want. Thanks in advance for the help! One more thing! Is replacing the speakers in this as simple as removing 2 wires and just connecting the new speaker? Or is there more to this since there is a factory amp?

Does anyone have any info? I got the 6.5" adapters and some kicker speakers. I got the door panel off and have no clue what to do with these plugs that are plugged into the existing baffles. I cannot find a DIY install with actual wiring. Anyone?
