Daughter said car would start then die in 2 seconds. I ran code and got P1300. I cleaned igniter and cleared code and got car started without a code. I'm thinking this is a bad coil pack or wire. Has anyone had experience with this?

I was just curious if you've gotten any closer as to why your daughter's car was having these issues? I have the exact same issue on my 2001 GS300 but can't seem to get any responses on here. Any info would help!

Yes, I swapped out all 3 coil packs and changed the plugs while I was at it. Issue was fixed immediately. It is rarely the igniter. Buy the white plastic tips for the harnesses if you do swap out the packs. They are brittle and will be broken. Here is a link to what I am talking about. Also, go ahead and buy new spark plug wires too.
