Some of us have just swapped out the high beams/DRLs for LEDs so that they match the low beams. Unfortunately, when you do that the high beam becomes pretty much useless for anything other than flashing...

LEDs work out best for DRL. The voltage needs to get boosted as well.

I want to do the same, mine's a 98 GS4 with stock HID's, but the running lights are just too yellow. I do have 194's in there instead of 2825's, but need something whiter. The 912 bulb works, but it is a snug fit and I would be afraid to get a bulb stuck inside if the temps change when I take it out....

I went with LED's for my DRL and they look much better than the ugly yellow lol My question though is I see a lot of member who have their DRL on at the same time as their headlights and fog lights....how do you do this? My DRL turn off once i turn my headlights on.

Yep, you need to also get some voltage boosters since the DRL's run with 1/2 voltage and LED's require the full 12V.

As he was saying... you'd need something like this:

...and last time I checked, this company was a vendor here as well.

Heres my question.... I installed HID high beams. Now if I'm not mistaken the DRL is just the highbeam at like 50% but when i stalled them my DRL stopped working. If I can get the DRL to work would they come back on in the white color and not the yellow??

to get them to work (on while in DRL mode) you would need to install a relay harness. They would be whatever color your HID bulbs are.
