Default PIAA extreme whites for DRL (Update Pic added)

Has anyone tried the PIAA extreme whites for DRL? I was thinking of getting some LED's but I dont want to lose my highbeams. I just want to get rid of the yellow look of the DRL and I know the PIAA extreme whites match the HID low beam pretty well because I have them as my fog replacement lights. I was just wondering if anyone tried it and had a pic? Correct me if I'm wrong but i need the 9005 bulb for the DRL and this wont make me lose my highbeam function right?

As soon as my 100w 9005 bulbs quit I will be getting these bulbs that were specifically designed for the IS;

Also if you want the best/brightest puddle and door lights on the market (These bulbs are amazing!);

I have the stock HID so i think those are 4500k or around there? I have the PIAA extreme whites for fogs so at least they will match my fog if I put them in my DRL. A pic would be much appreciated!!

I'm currently on PIAA Xtreme Whites too. You won't get rid of the yellow on DRL mode but it does give a nice white output on full-power.

Used to have Luminics Pure Blue. Looked white/purplish in DRL mode and blue on full-power... took them out after 3 weeks.

And yes, you need 9005 bulb size.

If you want bright DRL and powerful high beams take a look at these bulbs;

PIAA on the left and Stock on the right

All in all I'm happy with the way the PIAA extreme DRL's came out they aren't orange anymore like the stock ones and they aren't blue like LED's. I have the PIAA extreme whites for my fogs as well they def match the stock HID's better than anything ive seen without doing a full HID conversion.

I also got these for my DRL's, it is a very nice upgrade for the low cost. They are super bright!
