Ok so my ac compressor took a ****, so i replaced the compressor drier and expansion valve. I then charged it with two cans of freon and drove off to test it, my battery light then turned on and the ac light went from circulate to circulate outside in. I changed my battery now light is off and it doesnt circulate back and forth but it did blow cold now blows cool (like a fan cool). But the compressor kicks on for 10 sec and turns off for 10 then back on. All oem denso parts im stumped any info? Oh and no ac codes "00" thanks guys ive searched but nothing close to my symptoms.

My car started doing the same s**** today my battery light turns on right after the ac lights starts flashing did u do a code search on your ac ? Is so whay code did you get?
I got "00" nothing wrong. But just doesnt blow cold like it should i was reading up and maybe cabin filter and or over charge? I might take it to firestone and have it checked tomorrow i just dont want to spend money if its an easy diy

Yea mine was throwing a 00 then went threw the cycle then it gave me A 21 and 24 solar sensor the thing tat sucks is today was a hot *** day and its gonna be hot threw out the week ughhhh
For real 105 here in salt lake, well if u figure it out lmk im gonna hit firestone bright and early before the heat if i figure it out ill post some updates
solar sensor codes are normal if it isn't very bright when you are doing the testing...
could be too low of a charge or too high of a charge causing the issues - need to see what the gauges are doing on both the high and low side to give any more information...

It shouldn't... That's a weird random issue that is probably not related unless it has to do with the belt slipping and not engaging the alternator fully...

Well here my conclusion first off my car is a 03 gs300 just for clarification I turned on the car let it run with ac full blast and it ran perfect no blinking light soon as I turned my steering wheel it got hard and my battery light came on 2 sec later ac light began to flash the adhesive on my balancer is shot so when the it gets heavy loads the motor spins freely but the actual pully can not keep up with the heavy load of the ac and power steering so it slips

sounds like you might have overcharged the system. The compressor will kick on and off rapidly if you put more freon in the system then it should have. did you happen to use pressure gauges for a/c system when you charged it? i would check the pressures first before doing anything else.
The compressor has a RPM sensor in it to detect belt/ AC clutch slippage, when it detects that it will usually flash the a/c button on your climate control head. Unsure of why the batt light came on though, maybe it was a coincidence or you just had a bad connection? possibly related to belt slipping because the a/c system is overcharge, which could be putting excessive resistance on the accessory drive.
I would put my money on an overcharged system though for your a/c concern.

btw, there should be a yellow sticker on the bottom of your hood with the Max and Min charge weight for the A/C system.

Ummmmm ive had my car for over 5yrs now and never charged the system and this problem started today after work I used it this morning and it was working very well eighter way that harmonic balencer is toast
Ha Advil yeah thats me on ig. Im thinking it might be overcharged also because the mechanic added a 12oz can and 3/4 of a 20 oz can. My battery was bad already so i changed it anyway.
