Im gonna have it vacuumed and refilled monday with quality freon not the can stuff, i just dont have faith in it. Oh and changed cabin filter too some difference not much though.

my post was more to the OP. Sorry bout that. I'm pretty sure when you change your harmonic balancer your issue will be resolved. Seems like you are already on the right track.

If your AC light is blinking try this. Swap the fuse for the horn with the fuse for the AC Comp.

I solved my problem my harmonic balancer was not spinning the the belt and a/c fast enough so it spit out a error and my battry light came on due to low voltage detection also due to belt not spunning fats enough

^ Ok. Good stuff. Just an FYI to try this for other Lexus members. This is a common Toyota/Lexus problem. Especially with the ES guys. I had this issue last year. I replaced those fuses. Problem solved.

yea you need to get some gauges on that system and see FOR SURE what your pressure is at. Never guess something like that. that would be like just pouring in new oil and not measuring how much lol.

once your pressure is checked and where it needs to be, make sure your battery is healthy. Get it checked at your local parts store for free. Could have damaged cells.

Also sometimes when random things happen, it doesn't hurt to disconnect your negative batter, then hit your brake pedal (this dislodges any spare power left in the ECU) and then re connect your battery. This resets your ECU. Sometimes EFI cars needs that just as your computer at home needs to restart once in a while to reset parameters and accommodate changes.
